A well-shaved, gelled hair, formally dressed handsome human had opened the door for Man-Shik.
Man-shik couldn't recognize human-looking Sang je. He had never seen him this well dressed.
"Are you sure, you don't know me, Man-shik?" Sang je laughed.
"Boy.. you look happy today! What's going on? Where is my wild beast? Did you eat him up? What's the occasion? Planning to meet your Valentine?"
"What Valentine?! My girl hasn't looked for me for months. I think I didn't leave a good impression." He walked back inside with Man-shik.
"I don't know if I should tell you," Man-shik murmured.
"What is it?" Sang je did not expect any huge surprise.
"That girl. I saw her in the village today."
"Which girl?" plainly he asked.
"That girl you met in Modo. I am not sure though if it was her.. but.."
"What Man-shik??? Are you making up another excuse to take me to the village? Have you arranged another blind date?" he had had enough of Man-shik's tricks now.
"Fine. Don't believe me. You'll regret it." He kept Sang je's things on the table and left back to the village.
In all this discussion, he forgot to ask where Sang je was going today, dressed like that.
All the neighborhood ahjummas had by now gathered around Hyun-ki and Eun Hye. They were eager to know who that girl beside their Hyun-ki was.
"Who's she Hyun-ki?" One of them asked.
"Can't you tell? It's Valentine's today. A young couple in the morning...." another lady interrupted before Hyun-ki could say anything..
Well, this was what both of them wanted. To be misunderstood as a couple! They simply smiled...
"Hello ladies! I am Eun Hye. Nice to meet you all." she greeted all of them humbly.
Everyone was very happy for Hyun-ki. They thought his bachelor life was finally over. But who knew...
They now headed to Jae In's restaurant for breakfast. Jae In till now wasn't aware of anything that happened in the village. She was busy helping her grandmother in preparing the kitchen.
Hyun-ki opened the restaurant's door.
"Grandma. Are you inside?" he asked loudly. Jae In's grandmother liked Hyun-ki a lot. She, for numerous times by now, had sent lunch boxes for him to his school through Jae In.
"Yes, Hyun ki. Come inside. Take a seat. I'll be there in a minute." she replied from the kitchen.
The girl Eun Hye badly wished to see was yet to come outside too.
